Sunny spells, mainly cloudy, 24º, light SSW.
A wonder around the hill this afternoon........................fairly
quiet!
10 House Sparrow
were an unusual find on the hill, rarely seen in Lollingdon but the first time
on the hill itself for me.
A Buzzard, Kestrel and Red Kite on the hill plus the usual on and around the hill area.
Again butterflies dominated with Small Tortoiseshell, Meadow
Brown and Ringlet abundant, 2 Red Admiral, 2 Comma, 1 Marbled White,
several Small White and Small Skipper and a Southern Hawker dragonfly patrolling the ride on the north side.
