A wet one!

Rain at first then clearing and again later, 10°, light to fresh S.

Went out around midday today after the heavier rain had cleared and got back before the rest came.

A Grey Heron in the meadow this morning taking advantage of the lack of people and dogs around during the rain, also several Redwing in the meadow.

4 Stonechat still on Lollingdon Hill and a couple of Corn Bunting in song.

More Redwing than Fieldfare seen today with 100+ of the former and around 20 of the latter.

Both Reed Bunting and Yellowhammer still frequenting the area around the stubble fields.

A Barn Owl seen a couple of times by the Church/Bunk Line area and 2 Stonechat seen by the long dyke near the Lees in the week. (per Tony & Gill Williams).

Butterflies: a lone Brimstone seen on the way back during a short spell of sunshine between rain showers.
