Michael Pocock has reported a Barn Owl at Cholsey Marsh last night and further upstream a major Corvid roost comprising a rough guess of 5000 birds seen distantly.
“The Rooks and Jackdaw come in once it was nearly dark and swirl like a murmuration of starlings”.
Alan found a small flock of 4-5 Lesser Redpoll on Cholsey Marsh today, first ones since November last year that we know of.
Water Rail and Barn Owl present.
