Swallows passing thru

Sunny spells, 15°, breezy NW.

Both Alan and I out along the Bunk line today, overlapping briefly.

7 Hirundines seen high over CSW from Green lane, so doubled back to get a closer view. 2 came close enough to be id’d as Swallow and I assume the others were as well.

30+ Fieldfare out along the line and a single Redwing noted accompanying them.

Alan also had 2 Swallow fly thru later in the day and also logged a Raven, Grey Wagtail, Sparrowhawk and 2 Lapwing.

Earlier in the day Alan appeared to have a fall of Chiffchaff as they were everywhere along a stretch of the river.

Mammals: Brown Hare & Roe Deer.

Butterflies: Brimstone and Peacock.

Insects: Dark-edged Bee-fly.
