Hornet Robber Fly

Cloudy with a few sunny spells, 22°, light WSW.

The Hornet Robber Fly is one of the UK’s largest flies.it looks quite ferocious but is harmless to humans.

It is a predator of a lot of other insects including Wasps, Grasshoppers and Beetles etc.

There are a few sites in Cholsey for these flies but never guaranteed.
