Dance of the Insects

Cloudy, sunny spells, 20°, very light NW.

Another quiet and warm day on the hill, a single Swift feeding overhead and a single Lesser Blackback Gull flew west.

A Lesser Whitethroat still singing nearby.

A myriad of insects around today, lots of Bees, Hoverflies, day flying moths, assorted bugs and flies, most of which I had no idea what they were.

Dragonflies: An Emperor and 4-spot Chaser on the pond and a ♀ 4-spot Chaser on the hill.

Butterflies: Brimstone, Large White, Small White, Speckled Wood, Red Admiral, Small Tortoiseshell and Meadow Brown.
