A very quiet day out at Lollingdon for this time of year, no movement at all happening regarding visible migration.
Looks like our full complement of Common Whitethroat are in as I counted 11 singing males between home and Lollingdon Hill.
Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Yellowhammer and Corn Bunting all in song and a few Swallow feeding out at Little Lollingdon and the Little Owl noted again.
A couple of Swallow and House Martin and the first Swift noted overhead at Marymead and a Grey Wagtail in the garden.
Reptiles: 2 Common Lizard basking in the sunshine.
Butterflies: Brimstone, Small White, Green-veined White, Orange Tip, Small Tortoiseshell, Peacock and Speckled Wood.

Yellow Dung Fly (Scathophaga stercoraria)
