Sunny, 26º, light SE.
A couple of brief walks today fitted in on a busy day, a
walk along the river from Bradford’s Brook to the new bridge didn’t really
throw up much apart from loads of Banded
Demoiselles.
A couple of juvenile Black-headed
Gulls and a Grey Heron on the
opposite bank.
Lollingdon Hill was very quiet birdwise, a few Yellowhammer in song and the odd Corn Bunting and Skylark.
Lots of butterflies around today, 4 species of White, Red Admiral, Ringlet, Meadow Brown, a Common Blue, Large and Small Skipper,
Cereal crop harvesting has just begun!
