6th Aug

Sunny spells and showers, 18º, light to fresh W.

A brief visit to Lollingdon hill produced 6 Mistle Thrush in the Hawthorns and 3 Kestrels still present. Little else around, Yellowhammer and Corn Bunting heard and Red Kite, Buzzard and several Lesser Blackback Gulls over.

6 Swift seen over Wantage this morning and at least 1 probably 2 present all weekend, maybe still feeding young!

Pipistrelle bats hawking the garden tonight.
                                   Yellowhammer on the downs.

                                Mistle Thrush (Kestrel behind)
