Cholsey Marsh was rather quiet, a Reed Warbler, a Sedge
Warbler and approx six Chiffchaff,
also two Blackcap, a Willow Warbler and a Whitethroat, several Bullfinch and Great-spotted Woodpecker.
Along the river, a Kingfisher
flew to the opposite bank, a pair of Mute
Swan with two Cygnets on the river and a Grey Heron flew downriver.
There was a Hobby
circling over the small wood at Bow Bridge and a Cormorant in the usual tree near Bow.
No sign of the flycatchers at Lollingdon, a Willow Warbler, several Chiffchaff, a Blackcap and two Whitethroat.
A Peregrine circling north of the
hill with two Buzzard.
Brown Hawker and Common Darter dragonflies around in
numbers today and Banded Demoiselle
along the river.
A Great White Egret
