Overcast, 4°, light SSW.
A late afternoon visit to Cholsey marsh for the roost with
fewer Corn Bunting arriving and only
around 40 counted going to roost in the Phragmites, 12 Meadow Pipit and a few Reed
Bunting roosting in the Sedge.
A Sparrowhawk
flew high overhead and a few Fieldfare
and Redwing moving around and a couple of Water Rail heard on the marsh but
little else of note.
