A late afternoon visit to the hill

Redstart present, 1 ♂
and 1 juv.................looks as though these are the same 2 that have been
on the hill for some time now. They a far less vocal than when they first arrived
and appear to be ranging a bit further so not always easy to find.
Also present were 3-4 Yellowhammer,
c30 Linnet, 2 Yellow Wagtail, 1 Common Whitethroat, 5 Blackbird,
2 Kestrel, a Green Woodpecker and several Chiffchaff.
A few Swallow and
Swift flying south and a Hobby around on the north side.
Fewer butterflies today; Small White, Small Tort,
2 Red Admiral, Speckled Wood, 1 Common Blue,
Meadow Brown, Gatekeeper.
