Sunday stroll

Cloudy with hazy sunshine, 20º, light NW.

Out for a stroll this afternoon, Millennium Wood, Bullshole and along the Bunk line passing the Church.

A couple of Bullfinch and a Chiffchaff in the wood, 12 Black-headed Gull overhead, around 20 Swift in the air over the village and several Swallow and House Martin also feeding overhead.

Again plenty of butterflies on the wing with Meadow Brown, Ringlet, Small Tortoiseshell, Large White, Small White, Marbled White, Comma and Small Skipper, also a Migrant Hawker dragonfly noted.

A Green Woodpecker and a Great-spotted Woodpecker in the garden today and a Painted Lady butterfly.
