Lollingdon still has not woken up yet and the only sign of
spring was a singing Chiffchaff.
A flock of 100+ Fieldfare
feeding in fields to the south of the hill and a flock of c50 Redwing moving through to the north.
A ♀
Sparrowhawk flew over and no Gulls
seen at all today. The sheep flock has been moved elsewhere and subsequently far
fewer Pied Wagtail and Meadow Pipit present.
At least 3 Corn
Bunting in song.
3 Blackcap in the
garden today, 2♂ and
a ♀ and Small Tortoiseshell and Brimstone butterflies seen over the
week end.
