Swifts still moving through

Overcast, 13°, light NE.

A walk to Wallingford along the Bunk Line and back along the Thames.

A good passage of Swift today with 50+ over Cholsey SF then drifted off north and quite a lot more moving upriver. Up to around 200 in total. Good numbers of House Martin as well with 80+ noted.

At least 3 Lapwing between Bunk line and Wallingford road and 2 Lapwing in the ploughed field at the top of Ilges Lane.

Great Crested Grebe, Sparrowhawk, Kingfisher, Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Yellow Wagtail and Grey Wagtail, to name a few seen today.

Cuckoo heard from along the Wallingford road today and yesterday. Bob Dryden and Tony Rayner.
