A message from The EastEnder.
“At 4 this afternoon I saw 2 birds together circling high
above here. One was a Buzzard, but the
much large bird can only have been a Common
Crane!
A few minutes later a Sand
Martin flew past. On Sunday we had a Sedge
Warbler here for the day.
Some of the East End Farm Swallows are back now. It's all happening.
Record numbers of Grass
Snakes & Slow-worms, which
may be featured on Radio Oxford on Monday.”
A ♀
Redstart still (or another) on Lollingdon hill today along with 3 Wheatear and a couple of Common Whitethroat. (per TW).
