Contrast

Overcast, 10º, light NE, a very grey day.

Quite a contrast to yesterday as Lollingdon hill was virtually lifeless today in a relative sense. A single Red Kite feeding on what looked like a small carcass in one of the fields and 3 Corn Bunting on the wires.

A Green Woodpecker and a Great-spotted Woodpecker heard but little else present.
A Wood Pigeon in the garden today amusing us with its antics of trying to take sunflower hearts from one of the feeders. Also a singing Treecreeper in the garden today.
